Cheap Thrills over Spring Break
Photography, modern dance, and sketch comedy

Feel like a dose of culture, but don’t have time to get to the MFA or the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum? Check out the current show at the Panopticon Gallery inside the Hotel Commonwealth. The exhibition, Storytellers: Photographs by Frank Armstrong, Bill Franson, and Stella Johnson, offers what the gallery says are “three unique perspectives on how to tell a visual narrative.” Visitors will be transported by Armstrong’s black-and-white landscapes of the American Southwest, Franson’s photographs of New England, and Johnson’s vibrant images of Greece.
Storytellers: Photographs by Frank Armstrong, Bill Franson, and Stella Johnson is at the Panopticon Gallery, in the Hotel Commonwealth, 502c Commonwealth Ave., until March 29. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public. More information about the exhibition and the artists can be found here.
