Take In a Minor League Game Tonight
The PawSox are cheaper than the Bosox

Don’t want to pay the price for Red Sox tickets this recessionary summer? Try the little Sox: a nearby minor league farm team for Boston’s boys of summer.
The Pawtucket Red Sox, Boston’s Triple-A Rhode Island affiliate in the 14-team International League, take on Rochester tonight, Monday, July 18, at 7:05.
The Lowell Spinners, a Class-A farm team of the Bosox, are away tonight. But the Spinners, one of 14 franchises in the New York–Penn League, play a 76-game schedule this year, so you can catch them at home some other time.
The PawSox play at McCoy Stadium, One Columbus Ave., Pawtucket, R.I. General admission is $7 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children ages 12 and under. Info is available online. The Spinners play at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, 450 Aiken St., Lowell, Mass. Directions, schedule, and ticket-purchasing information are online.
