  1. As a child, I latched on to the piano, and stayed with it. This altered my attention to pitch and harmonics in different ways than my brothers, who were handed violins. I was more attentive to physics, studied electrical engineering, and ended up boosting LIGO to a level capable of detecting gravity waves 1.5 billion light years distant in origin. I had clearly learned how to ask questions and turn them into answers.
