Commencement has come and gone and summer courses have begun, so we thought we’d look back at some of the most memorable moments of the 2015–2016 academic year. We combed through about 175 “Close-Ups” that appeared on BU Today from late August through Commencement to put together a slideshow of some of the highlights.
The moments we recorded range from the somber, like the November 15 vigil on Marsh Plaza for the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks, to the lighthearted, like the physics department’s annual Pumpkin Drop, to numerous beauty shots that chronicle the changing of the seasons. We kick off with images from last August’s Move-in and wrap up with the University’s 143rd Commencement on May 15. Enjoy our retrospective.
