  1. Very nice study indeed! I wonder, what would happen if these mice, tau tg and het for TIA1 lived long enough: would the tau small fragments aggregate into the larger tangles? Would it be possible to study the effects of TIA1 in a different animal model that does not carry tau mutations (and therefore more similar to AD). i.e. the TgF344-AD rat model?

  2. There is indeed a natural slowing of mental processes with age. And this slowing is different in every human being on Planet Earth! This process does not necessarily mean that every human being has Alzheimer’s Disease for God’s sake! Doctors who are NOT Alzheimer’s Disease SPECIALISTS shut-up, Quit scaring everyone! Remember your “Hypocratic Oath to do no harm! Honor that cotacle!
