A Trip down Memory Lane for the Class of 2021
A Trip down Memory Lane for the Class of 2021
Video recalls many of the big news events and pop culture moments that have defined the last four years
As the COVID-19 pandemic drags on, it’s sometimes hard to remember a time before Zoom, masks, social distancing, and vaccines. But the past four years have seen a lot of big news events and pop culture moments that have helped define the Class of 2021’s years at Boston University.
BU Today traditionally highlights many of the events, at home and around the world, of graduating seniors’ four years at the University in an annual “Looking Back” video. Who remembers the Tide Pod Challenge? When the Red Sox clinched their ninth World Series title and the New England Patriots captured their sixth Super Bowl win (back in the days before Tom Brady decamped for warmer climes)? Oh, and more recently, a new president (and the first woman VP!).
In this video, relive those and many other moments in the almost four years since the 2021 graduating seniors first arrived at BU.
Our thanks to Aaron Hwang (ENG’21) for compiling this nostalgic trip down memory lane.
