BU in Summer: Video Captures a More Mellow Campus
Everyone can agree that this summer’s weather in Boston has not been the best (a record-hot June was followed by a near-record-wet July that dumped over 10 inches of rain on the city, more than three times the average rainfall for the month). But despite that, the months since Commencement have offered plenty of breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and chances to linger over a leisurely picnic or lose yourself in a great book on the BU Beach or play games with friends. And it’s tranquil enough on a summer evening that even the rabbits come out to play.
We wanted to give all of you who’ve been away from campus these past months a glimpse of what you’ve missed. Camera in hand, video producer Bill Politis spent much of the past few weeks capturing the Charles River Campus at this magical time of year.
So before Move-in begins in earnest, before we dive into a new school year, before the maelstrom begins, take a look at the video he’s put together. And take comfort in the fact that fall doesn’t officially begin for nearly another month.
