BU Today wants to hear from you for a story we’re putting together
The 125th Boston Marathon—delayed 18 months due to COVID-19—is finally scheduled—it will be run on Monday, October 11. In a nod to the ongoing pandemic, entrants will need to provide either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to participate. And while masks aren’t required during the 26.2 mile course, they will be mandatory during transportation and in certain designated areas on Marathon Monday.
Each year, members of the BU community enter the race to run in support of a nonprofit sanctioned by the Boston Athletic Association, organizer of the race. Are you one of them? If so, we want to hear from you for a story we’re putting together, to run Friday, October 8.
Email John O’Rourke at orourkej@bu.edu by Thursday, September 23. Tell us a little about yourself and the organization you’re running to raise money for and why you decided to support it. If you’re a student or an alum, be sure to include your school and grad year. And if you’re faculty or staff, include your title.
