Why should I go?
The Boston Public Library’s outdoor Concerts in the Courtyard series are on Fridays at noon through August 27. A partnership between the BPL and Berklee College of Music, the series features an array of talented local musicians playing a mix of musical genres—from jazz and world music to opera, folk, and classical—all performed in the library’s stunning courtyard. It’s an ideal way to spend a summer lunch hour.
Today’s concert features a performance by Boston-based violinist Anna Harris, a 2020 graduate the BU College of Fine Arts, where she was a production assistant, and a former artist-in-residence at Boston Medical Center. She is now a development associate at the BPL Library Fund.
Note: In the event of rain, concerts will be moved indoors, but will be closed to live guests because of the pandemic. All of the Concerts in the Courtyard are livestreamed on the BPL’s YouTube channel.
