To Do Today: Yoga in the Park
Reconnect with nature—and yourself—during an evening in-person yoga class
What?
When?
Wednesdays, 6 to 7 pm
Where?
Knyvet Square (between St. Paul Street and Amory Street, Brookline)
How much?
Cost is $20 for an in-person class, offered by Coolidge Yoga. Preregistration is required—no walk-ins allowed. If an outdoor class is canceled because of weather conditions, Coolidge Yoga will issue a refund in the form of studio credit.
Why should I go?
Yoga students often find relaxation, self-fulfillment, and a reconnection with nature through their practice. So, what better way to achieve these benefits than in a beautiful park? The sunset vinyasa flow classes welcome both beginners and advanced students. The vinyasa style offers a seamless “flow” between yoga poses, and is one of the most common, modern yoga practices.
Coolidge Yoga couldn’t have picked a more serene setting for the class. Knyvet Square is quiet, shaded, and beautiful—and only steps from the BU campus. The yoga studio, 1297 Beacon St., Brookline, reopened its doors for indoor classes on June 1, so if air-conditioning is more your speed in the hot weather, check out those classes here.
