Who Is Your BU Unsung Hero of the Pandemic?
Tell us about someone who’s made a difference—with little fanfare—since BU had to shut down dorms one year ago
It was almost one year ago—March 16, 2020—that BU made the unprecedented announcement that it was shutting down dorms and sending students home as the COVID-19 pandemic surged in Boston.
And what a year it’s been.
Now, we’re asking the University community to tell us about their unsung heroes of the pandemic, someone who lives or works at BU. Maybe it’s a professor who went above and beyond with Learn from Anywhere or a Facilities worker you’ve seen cleaning every day or a Dining Services employee who’s made your day a little brighter. Maybe it’s a COVID-19 contact tracer or researcher or maybe an advisor or healthcare worker.
It’s easy. Fill out our form and return it by Tuesday, March 2. Tell us why the BU person you’re nominating has been a hero during the pandemic, and we’ll take it from there and publish our story on the one-year anniversary.
Unsung heroes submissions are now closed.
