Where?
Charlestown Navy Yard, 20 1st Ave., Boston.

Why should I go?
Spend a relaxing summer evening at the Charlestown Navy Yard taking a free sunset yoga class. This “yoga for all” class encourages participants to experience slow flow yoga, which can be incorporated into their daily routine.
Join instructor Linda N. Wells, also known as the “Wellness Warrior,” who teaches students to reclaim personal agency through adaptable yoga and to be resilient when dealing with stress. Linda is certified to teach trauma-informed yoga for teens and youth, and accessible yoga for people living with chronic pain, larger bodies, or disabilities.
Participants will meet in the grassy area on the corner of 1st Avenue and 5th Street, inside the Charlestown Navy Yard. The event is free, but attendees should register in advance, since walk-ups are available on a limited basis.
Sunset yoga is part of Boston Harbor Now’s HarborFit program, which provides free fitness classes around Boston’s waterfront this summer. Classes include yoga, cardio, dance, and more. The program is part of the commemoration of the Boston Harbor Islands’ 25th anniversary as a national park and 50th anniversary as a state park.
