Making the Most of My Time at BU
Last spring, as a year of hybrid learning, social distancing, masking, and grab-and-go meals from Dining Services drew to a close, we asked student vlogger Will Loggia (COM’24) to produce a video about how his freshman year measured up to his expectations of what college life would be like.
Now, a year later, and halfway through his college experience, Will, an advertising and film and television major, returns with a new video. He talks about how he’s learned to make the most of his time at BU and offers some tips for how you can do that as well. Among his suggestions: make a point of attending campus events; leave your dorm room when you can, even to study; get off campus and explore what Boston has to offer; and last, stay in touch with your family and friends back home.
He also solicits advice and pointers from some of his cross-country teammates who are about to graduate.
Be sure to check out Will’s drone footage and his recommendations on the best places to study on campus (just in time for finals) and some off-campus destinations worth checking out.
