For men’s cross country athlete and vlogger Will Loggia (COM’24), junior year marked the first time he felt like college life truly came into its own. The advertising and film major says group projects and class presentations felt invigorating in a way they hadn’t his freshman and sophomore years, due to the pandemic. And this year track meets were packed with fans during a season that saw the team break records.
“I’m finally achieving the college experience I hoped for,” he says. “My courses have reached the higher levels of what I want to study, collaboration on group projects is taking place in person, and the track season is in full swing.”
Loggia produced vlogs for BU Today at the conclusion of his freshman and sophomore years that offered revealing snapshots of campus life during the pandemic.
Now, with things essentially back to pre-pandemic normal, we asked him to reflect on his junior year. In the video above, Loggia explains why “I truly feel that I’ve found my own best version of BU.” We can’t wait to see what his impressions of his senior year will be.
