  1. This is such an important conversation to continue having, especially during our college years. I think we collectively focus on sex as something that is taboo to talk about, and don’t spend nearly enough time reflecting on our own wants and how those wants contribute to how we show up in sexual relationships. People come into college with vastly different levels of education about sex and their sexual health, which only exacerbates the cycle of miscommunication. It’s so important to take the initiative to learn not only about the risks associated with being sexually active, but also about everything that takes place before and after. Respect and honesty are so crucial to ensuring that a sexual experience is a positive one.
