Getting to Know Comm Ave
If you’re brand-new to Boston University, you’ve already figured out that Commonwealth Avenue (Comm Ave to locals) is the primary thoroughfare bisecting the Charles River Campus.
It’s home to classrooms, dorms, an MBTA Green Line hub, numerous restaurants, and much more.
We asked public relations and social media intern Sophia Caffrey (COM’25) to take us on a quick tour of the 1.5-mile stretch of Comm Ave that cuts through the BU campus. In our video, she begins in East Campus, proceeds west along the avenue through Central Campus, and concludes her tour in West Campus. Take a look.
