Life after Boston University: A Look into What’s Next for Graduating Seniors
Check out what these eight Boston University seniors are looking forward to after graduation.
It’s that time of year again – the red caps and gowns are making an appearance, senior festivities are taking place, and the anticipation of graduation is filling the air. For seniors about to graduate, let’s reflect on what a journey it has been. The past four years have been a whirlwind of ups and downs, incredible achievements, trying challenges, and lasting memories. As commencement creeps up on us, let’s check out what seniors are most excited about after graduation!
Jenna Zhang (Questrom’23)

“I’ll be moving to New York after graduation, and it’s always been my dream to live in the city. I’m excited to explore the city, meet new people, and start my new job.”
Rhea Shetty (Questrom’23)

“I’m looking forward to transitioning to a new city with the opportunity of meeting new people and having new experiences.”
Kylee Nguyen (COM’23)

“No one can be fully prepared for post-grad life. And I think that is also the beauty of it. Our entire world is now opened up to new prospects, opportunities, as well as new challenges and obstacles. But we now have the freedom to explore all of the above. And I can’t wait to use the knowledge I’ve gathered in the last four years to guide me through the next chapter in my life.”
Ren Amer (COM’23)

“As I turn the page from the prologue to the first chapter of my life, I yearn for the knowledge to ride the waves of freedom.”
Paulina Preciat (SHA’23)

“I am looking most forward to seeing where my professional career takes me. I have so many dreams I can’t wait to accomplish throughout the years after graduating. I also can’t wait to travel in Asia with my best friend. When I was 16 I decided to study hospitality while living in Vietnam for a summer. This summer I will be going back to Vietnam for closure of this chapter!”
Irvin Alonzo (CAS’23)

“I look forward to continuing my growth through teaching and graduate school, where I know I’ll be challenged and inspired to reach new heights.”
Perry Sosi (CFA’23)

“I am most excited to create what I want to create without the limitations and expectations that can come with designing within the context of an academic institution.”
Annie Quinn (COM’23)

“While there’s so much to be excited about post-grad, I’m most looking forward to traveling abroad with friends over the summer.”
As these seniors graduate and enter a new chapter of their lives, it’s exciting to see the beginning of what our Boston University 2023 graduates will accomplish. Good luck to all our graduates, and happy summer!
