Learn More Series: Banned Books Storytime Marathon
Join BU Diversity & Inclusion and the LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff as they host a Banned Books Storytime Marathon, where attendees can read LGBTQIA+ kid lit, spoken word style. Free snacks will be handed out, and readers will receive a free copy of either the YA bestseller Flamer or the eye-catching board book, The Pronoun Book.

BU vs. Boston Winter Open
The Boston University men’s and women’s varsity swimming and diving teams will host the Boston Winter Open, a two-day event for nonconference swimmers and divers. Watch teams from BU, MIT, and Tufts University compete in various races and relays, including 3-meter diving.

Lunar New Year Gala
In honor of the Lunar New Year, come celebrate with a gala in collaboration with various other cultural clubs and performance groups from both BU and Northeastern. Feast on classic Asian food, see dances and plays on the stage, and write notes full of hopes for the new year and hang them up across Metcalf Ballroom. Formal attire is requested.

Jazz Scene in Boston: Telling the Local Story
View the 80-year history of jazz in Boston at this elaborate exhibition at the Museum of African American History. The exhibition includes images by notable jazz photographers Lee Tanner and Jack Bradley and from the archives of institutions including Berklee College of Music, W.E.B. Du Bois Library at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Salem State University.
