If you’re local for the summer and looking for some cool places to watch the fireworks and celebrate the holiday in Boston, we’ve got you covered! Here are four activities for you to choose from for the Fourth of July in Boston:
Boston Harborfest

Celebrate one of the most important cities that took part in the American Revolution at the Boston Harborfest. Starting June 30th to July 4th, the website features all the activities Boston will hold to celebrate the week of the fourth. Walk the Freedom Trail, watch live performances, go on a USS Constitution tour, attend Boston Tea Party shows, and more. Check out their website for more information on free activities.
Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular

Celebrate the Fourth of July at the famous Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular at the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade. This show intertwines the beautiful sounds of the Boston Symphony Orchestra alongside beautiful fireworks and sailboats along the river. The orchestra will be led by the notorious conductor Keith Lockhart, who will perform patriotic songs. Arrive early to get a good spot on the grass, and don’t forget something to sit on!
Boston Red Sox Home–Game at Fenway Park

Watch the Red Sox face the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park Tuesday, July 4th, at 1:35 pm. Since it’s America’s birthday, all fans will receive a complimentary bucket hat for the Fourth of July. Grab your Red Sox gear and cheer on Boston in our home baseball park.
Sail Alongside the USS Constitution

Ride beside the USS Constitution in a classic Boston Tall Ship that will set sail in Boston Harbor. You’ll be able to see famous Boston ships and historic U.S. landmarks, like the Tea Party, Old North Church, and the Boston Navy Yard. Learn more about Boston’s famous ship history on either a day or a sunset cruise. The ships may not be in active battle, but you’ll still get a chance to experience some of America’s most notable history!
