The first concert on June 6 will feature singer-songwriter Dakota, whose pop music combines rock and funk twists with powerhouse vocals to create a nostalgic sound. The newly minted Berklee alum has performed at Lollapalooza, Milwaukee’s Summerfest, and SXSW. She also recently won Berklee’s Best Songwriter Award.
Future concerts will feature Berklee R&B duo Two Smooth on June 13 and alternative rock music group Sampson Piermattei on June 27. The Kendall Center performances through July and August will include Cuban flutist and composer Sheila del Bosque, indie rock musician Becca Packer, and more.
