There are 3 comments on Was the Shooting of Donald Trump “Political Violence” or Something Else?

  1. “Epidemiological studies show that the vast majority of individuals *who own firearms* are never violent,”
Ok, nice orchestrated hit piece on gun owners disguised as an article about the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
Millions of Americans own firearms. Millions of Americans don’t try to kill the former president at a campaign stop. There’s far more to this story than what is in this article, and what’s being widely reported. WAY too many ‘coincidences’ and outright lies told by the actors in charge of the security.
Things cease to be conspiracy theories when they continually turn out to be true.

  2. I love politically motivated speculation as much as the next guy, but what’s the intellectual value when the story on Crooks is still far from clear.

See, for example, the recent tweet apparently from Andrew Torba, CEO for the “free speech” Gab platform:

“The story is this: the account for which data was requested was, UNEQUIVOCALLY, pro-Biden and in particular pro-Biden’s immigration policy.

To the best of Gab’s knowledge, as of 2021, Crooks was a pro-lockdown, pro-immigration, left-wing Joe Biden supporter.”
