CELOP offers new part-time program
New SAR student residence Sargent House, a newly renovated student residence at 205
Bay State Rd., opened to SAR students for the first time this September.
Currently, 26 students reside in the fully furnished brownstone. The lounge
area will be open once a month to SAR alumni and students for the school's
Fireside Chat Discussion Series, which kicks off on September 18. Alan
Jette, dean of the college, will deliver a talk entitled Exercise: It's
Never Too Late!
SSW dean new editor in chief of social work journal
Wilma Peebles-Wilkins, dean of the School of Social Work, has been appointed as the new editor in chief of Children and Schools: A Journal of Social Work Practice. Two special issues of the practitioner-to-practitioner resource are planned for 2003 - one on early childhood education and one on evidence-based practice with school-related issues. |
