The Academic Computing System (ACS) provides the University's central e-mail services, accessible from the Web at www.bu.edu/webmail/ and through desktop e-mail programs using IMAP. ACS also offers general access to UNIX computing, Web site hosting, and a broad range of software, including mathematical, statistical, and scientific software; programming languages; and text processing and graphics packages.
ACS accounts are available to all faculty, staff, and students. You can open an account at the IT Help Center. Your account will normally be available within twelve hours.
ACS is managed by the Information Services & Technology.
