Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all of Boston University’s students and faculty!

COVID-19 had made Halloween seem a little unachievable this year.

So in order to ensure safety and still celebrate the spookiest holiday of year, wear a MASK as apart of your costume this year and celebrate distance with friends or virtually with family!

In recent years, Salem, MA has been considered the Halloween destination for tourists. Customers would book their stays way in advance at several of Salem’s hotels. However, due to the “Nightmare Before Christmas” or otherwise known as COVID-19, most events are cancelled this year!

No worries though, the spooky traditions must go on! The uniquely American adoration for Halloween will also push millions to find new and responsible ways to celebrate. Virtual activities, drive-thru haunted houses, pumpkin carving and home decorating are now options for keeping the ghost of Halloween sneaking around.

Salem may not have in person events, but the Hal-O-Ween Pet Parade and other events are still happening! Virtually of course!

Though celebrations may be different this year, we will still find a way to discover some holiday joy!
