New MMH Courses!

While all our MMH courses are current and reflect on-going societal and business changes, a few in particular to highlight may be of interest. Though conceived pre-COVID, the BU SHA MMH course in Innovation & Disruption has taken on even more meaning and significance at this turning point for the hospitality industry.

Students are inspired by entrepreneurial thinkers from outside the business to push the boundaries and become disruptors or respond strategically and profitably from disruption. Our newly designed course Fundamentals of Digital Content Creation rounds out our marketing concentration and master’s candidates with the additional technical and software skills while appreciating concepts of color theory, font, design and messaging to develop effective communication assets.

The MMH Food and Beverage course has been redesigned for the post-COVID world, enlightening students with traditional references and case studies while encouraging and fostering new adaptive and creative ways of rethinking F&B business models for success and new trends.

And the Digital Marketing Strategies course has been further elevated to focus even more so on analytics, encompassing simulations for Adwords and Analytics, and enabling our SHA undergraduate students who had already taken the course at the undergraduate level to further fine-tune skills at a mastery level as well.
