Joseph Rinaldi

Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner, Rinaldi Pease Companies LLC

Joseph Rinaldi is a Boston resident who has been teaching at Boston University since 2021. A life-long Bay Stater, he grew up in Western Massachusetts where he worked at his family’s Italian restaurant. Mr. Rinaldi earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, cum laude, with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting from Bryant University in Rhode Island. He then earned a Master of Science in Accounting degree with a concentration in Taxation from Northeastern University in Boston. Rinaldi began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he worked in both their tax and audit divisions. Today, he is the Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner of a Rinaldi Pease Companies LLC, a real estate development firm with properties and projects all across Massachusetts. Rinaldi is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA). A member of both the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, he has earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. As a sole-practitioner, Joseph runs a full-service CPA firm, Rinaldi Financial, for his clients. Through his work in real estate, Rinaldi is licensed as a Realtor and Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson, Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (HIC), Massachusetts Notary, and a Massachusetts Justice of the Peace. He also founded and serves as President of The Rinaldi Foundation, Inc. which raises funds and makes grants to local charities focusing on homelessness and child poverty.
