Throughout the Spring Semester, we’ll be hosting virtual roundtable discussions for our admitted students and faculty over Zoom. You can register for an upcoming opportunity to meet your future professors and classmates while learning about the SHA community below:

Visit the School of Hospitality Administration

Want to experience SHA before enrolling? We are happy to arrange an on campus visit.. During your visit, you can tour the school, sit in on a hospitality class, and meet with a faculty member and current student. Please contact shagrad@bu.edu to arrange your visit.

Confirm Your Enrollment

Before you can move forward, please inform us about your confirmation of enrollment by logging in to the applicant gateway emailed to you. The message’s subject line says “Next Steps for the [Graduate Program Name] at Boston University.” You will be asked to confirm your decision and pay your $400 enrollment deposit.

Create Your BU Email

Once you confirm your enrollment and pay your tuition deposit, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your BU email and user account. Please be sure to check this email throughout the spring. Information regarding course registration, orientation, and other important updates will be emailed to your BU address.

Access and Explore BU’s Student Link

Your BU email is necessary to access your myBU student account where you can access your records and student resources at Boston University. Through your myBU student account, you can register for classes, pay bills, find work-study opportunities, view grades, and more.

You will also need to use this account to ensure you are in Compliance with Boston University requirements before you can enroll in classes.

Submit Your Official Final Transcript

Submit an official copy of your bachelor’s degree transcript that includes your degree completion date. Official transcripts must be received by October 1, 2024.

Transcripts must be sent directly from your university. Electronic transcripts may be sent to shagrad@bu.edu.

Submit Your Health Forms

All incoming students must submit health forms and immunization records. Please review the requirements on the Student Health Services website.

Apply for Financial Aid

US Citizens and permanent residents who are applying for federal financial aid should complete the 2024/2025 
FAFSA
in late June/early July. More information about financial aid can be found on SHA’s Federal Financial Aid page.

    International Students: Important Visa and I-20 Form Information

    If you are an international student, you will need your Form I-20 to apply for your F-1 student visa from the US Embassy in your country. To issue your Form I-20, we will collect the required documentation once you pay the enrollment deposit. If you have any questions, please email shagrad@bu.edu.
