A STEM-Eligible Real Estate Program
The Master of Science in Hospitality Real Estate degree is designated by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a STEM-eligible degree program. International students with F-1 student status may be able to apply for a 24-month extension of their 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) employment authorization.

Program Curriculum and Courses
The MSHRE program curriculum encompasses 36 credits (11 courses) and one internship requirement. Full-time students may complete the MS in Hospitality Real Estate degree program in just 12 months. For working professionals who wish to study part time, the program offers a flexible schedule that allows students to complete the degree in two to six years.
Students in the master’s degree program examine the various important parts of the hospitality real estate cycle, from acquisition or construction to disposition. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and group projects, students learn financial management and analytics, feasibility analysis, hospitality asset management, deal-making, and more.
The Hospitality Real Estate master’s degree curriculum also includes environmental, social, and governance criteria, positioning our students on the cutting edge of the conversation of ethical and socially responsible hospitality investment.
