SHA’s new 4+1 gastronomy program paves the way for you to earn a master’s degree in gastronomy at BU’s Metropolitan College in as few as two semesters. Upon graduation from SHA’s bachelor’s degree program, qualified students, with two specific SHA courses under their belts, automatically become a Master of Liberal Arts degree candidate in MET’s gastronomy program. The eight credits for the two required SHA courses (see below) will reduce the total needed for the master’s degree. With this head start, you can complete the remaining eight courses (32 credits) in only two semesters. Just make sure to submit your application during your junior year.
