Join us for a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's Cantata for the Feast of the Purification of Mary "Mit Fried und Freud ich fahr dahin (In Peace and Joy I Now Depart)", BWV 125.
Music at Marsh Chapel celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Bach Cantata Series with four cantatas never performed before at Marsh Chapel. Each Bach Experience Sunday begins at 9:45 AM with a 30-minute discussion of the work's musical and theological significance. After a complimentary breakfast, the Experience continues with a complete performance of the cantata during the Sunday morning service.
