Boston University Stage Troupe is thrilled to present its 2017 Summer Show revival, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE Directed by Brittany Kamson Technical Direction by David Murauskas Produced by Kobi Kassal and HwaYoun Kang Cast: Vanya: Conner Reed Sonia: Lucy Gamades Masha: Ali Edwards/Mary Kate Heagerty* Spike: Chris Remillard Cassandra: Lauren Linn Nina: Rachel Smith *This role is double-cast. Synopsis: Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain about the circumstances of their lives. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha. This one-night only revival performance will be held on Friday, September 8 in The Student Theater at Agganis Arena.
