Anna Monahan
Assistant Dean of Finance and Administration
Anna Monahan joined Boston University in November 2009. During her time here Anna Monahan has served as a Lecturer in the Department of Health Science, and Director of Internships in the Human Physiology Program and Co-Director of International Service Learning and Community Engagement at Sargent College. Anna later transitioned to Boston University Medical School to work with the Physician Assistant Program where she managed operations and admissions. Anna received an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master of Science in Cardiopulmonary Physiology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education. Anna’s research interests are around Cultural Literacy as it relates to the pedagogy of International Service Learning. Anna is looking forward to utilizing her 10 years of experience at BU in her role of Assistant Dean working with the SHA community. Anna resides with her family in Lowell Massachusetts in a historical textile mill building. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city for its architecture, local art, and cuisine as well as participating in community events and fundraisers.
