Beth Ann Dahan

Beth Ann Dahan is the Director of Vela Wines, a company dedicated to producing wines in New Zealand for export to the United States and other countries. She also works as a Small Business Advisor for the non-profit Accion Opportunity Fund.  She is a lecturer at Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration and Metropolitan College in the area of wine studies and is a Certified Specialist in Wine. She has a diploma in wine studies from the Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center at BU. Prior to becoming a wine educator, she owned and operated Soleil Café, a café and catering business specializing in corporate, university and social catering events. Previously, she worked for ten years in international development primarily in the area of micro-finance in Africa. She holds a BS in business administration from the University of Vermont, an MBA from Northeastern University and a Diplôme de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in London, UK.
