Gabriela (Gaby) Yidi

Gabriela Yidi is excited to join Boston University once again after attaining over 10 years of industry experience in the hospitality field. Before working as an adjunct professor, Gabriela held Front Office/Guest Services positions at various luxury hotels in Miami and New York City: Andaz Wall Street, The Mark Hotel, W South Beach, The Setai Hotel, and opening W Miami. Most recently Gabriela has been practicing hospitality in the travel/tourism space as a Luxury Travel Designer at Excursionist, an ultra-luxe DMC focusing on travel in the US, Canada and the Caribbean.
She is a graduate of Boston University and University of Florida, earning her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and subsequently her Master of Business Administration in International Business.
As an Adjunct Professor teaching Lodging Operations and Technology, Gabriela shares her experience managing Front Office/Housekeeping leaders, explaining actual anecdotes of luxury hotels, and teaching the passion involved in becoming a true hospitality professional.
