John Basting

John Basting is a Senior Vice President on Cain’s real estate equity team in New York and is focused on Cain’s hospitality projects including the Raffles Boston, One Beverly Hills – Beverly Hilton and future Aman, the Delano Miami Beach, as well as evaluating future opportunities. Before joining Cain, John held a variety of senior roles including at Global Hospitality Investment Group (GHIG), Cushman & Wakefield Global Hospitality, and Kingdom Hotels. 
 
John holds a Bachelor of Science from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University where he also received a minor in real estate, and he is an active member in the Cornell Hotel Society and Lodging Industry Investment Council.
