Executive Director of Business Development Hebrew SeniorLife

Matthew Hollingshead serves as the executive director of business development for Hebrew SeniorLife. In his role, Matthew focuses on expanding the Hebrew SeniorLife mission to help older adults through the development of new communities and programs.

Prior to his current role, Matthew served as the Executive Director for NewBridge on the Charles, Assisted Living which includes 51 assisted living apartments, 36 memory care apartments, and an internal day program. Under Matt’s leadership, the NewBridge on the Charles memory care program has become renowned locally for its robust use of expressive therapies for care and support. Matthew also oversaw and supported operations across the broader NewBridge on the Charles campus including the community life, culinary, housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams.

Previously, he served for ten years in a series of leadership positions at another continuing care retirement community in Massachusetts. As a licensed nursing home administrator, his roles there included oversight of long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, home health services, memory care, and facility operations.

Matthew earned a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a master’s degree from Boston University. He serves on the board of trustees for Leading Age, MA as well as the public policy and resident care committees of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA). He lives in Mansfield with his wife and two sons.
