“I chose the School of Hospitality at BU because of the reputation BU has of being one of the best schools in the U.S. SHA has great connections with hospitality employers in the city. I also liked that the master’s program was just one year.
Throughout my master’s degree experience in SHA, we had many group projects. In the hotel industry, learning to be able to work as a team is an important skill set to have. I believe I have gained invaluable knowledge on how to work with different types of people to make sure guests are happy. With the variety of courses offered, I learned what fields in hospitality interest me the most and which fields I would excel at.”
