MMH ‘19; SHA Research Assistant

Internship – SHA Research Assistant

After Graduation – Ph.D. program at Penn State.

I have been passionate about travel, hospitality, and interacting with people since I was a child. When I chose my graduate program, I was undecided about whether to work in a hotel or become a researcher in the hospitality field. Because of Boston University’s outstanding reputation, I chose the MMH – a non-thesis track program that focuses on hands-on work and prepares students for future careers in the hospitality industry. Although I eventually applied for a Ph.D. and decided to become a researcher, the program was incredibly helpful. The faculties and staffs at SHA were supremely supportive and full of positive energy, which is the culture here. The most valuable thing is that faculties are very approachable and able to teach students according to their abilities and needs. I have enjoyed my time at SHA, it is a small family full of love and care.
