Organic, Vegan, Sustainable, Natural Wines: A Free Wine Tasting with Ara Sarkissian

Consumers are looking for clues to understand what these terms mean on a wine label. What's the difference between "organic wine" and "wine made with organic grapes?" Aren't all wines vegan anyway? If this wine's natural, what's everything else? Join us as we decode some of this language, and explore sustainable practices and labeling nuances. We'll also taste 3 wines during the presentation.

Ara Sarkissian leads this free wine tasting. He is a Certified Wine Educator, holds the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits, and has earned the Boston University Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center’s Level-4 Diploma with Distinction. Ara Sarkissian teaches in the Boston University wine program and works in the wine trade consulting in the retail and import sectors.

There is no fee to attend this event, and all participants must be 21 year of age or older.
