NOT IN USE – Tuition Chart: MSCIS (International students)

Tuition, fees, and total program cost are determined by enrollment status. International students studying on campus with an F-1 visa must enroll full-time, enrolling in 3–4 courses (12–16 credits) each semester and paying the per-semester rate. Part-time enrollment is only possible in a student’s final semester.

International students interested in the fully online program may enroll part-time (1–2 courses or 4–8 credits per semester) and will be charged the part-time per-credit rate. Online international students are not eligible for an F-1 visa from Boston University.

Boston University requires international on-campus students to demonstrate that they can fund all tuition, fees, books, living expenses, and the Student Health Insurance Plan throughout the duration of their studies. To do this, each student or sponsor (person funding the student’s education) must submit financial documentation during the immigration documentation process. The document must show the availability of funds to cover the total Estimated Cost of Graduate Study at Boston University.
