Arts Administration Faculty Named New Chief Program and Impact Officer for TSNE MissionWorks
Michael Ibrahim (MET’07), an alum of BU MET’s MS in Arts Administration who also teaches in the program, was recently appointed chief program and impact officer at TSNE MissionWorks (formerly Third Sector New England), a $70 million nonprofit management and capacity organization that serves New England and beyond. In his new role, Ibrahim will oversee, evaluate, develop, and expand TSNE’s national program offerings and services, including executive search and transition, human resources and organizational development consulting, training and professional development, and a wide variety of nonprofit training programs.
Ibrahim has taught Raising Funds and Grant Writing (MET AR 550) in the Arts Administration program since 2012, and was instrumental in the development of the online Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management. Prior to joining TSNE, Ibrahim was cultural investment portfolio manager at the Mass Cultural Council, where he led the Advisory Services and Capacity Building Initiatives for arts, humanities, and science organizations across the Commonwealth.
