Financial Planning Facilitator & Alum Wins “Rising Star Award”
When Phuong Luong was ready for a career change, she turned to the Center for Professional Education (CPE) at Boston University’s Metropolitan College. After successfully completing the CPE Financial Planning Certificate Program, Ms. Luong went on to first earn her Certified Financial Planner™ certification and then founded Just Wealth, a financial planning organization that works with clients of diverse incomes. Today, in addition to her responsibilities for Just Wealth, she serves as a financial planning program facilitator for CPE, reinvesting her energies into the program that helped her achieve her goals.
For her success in the field, Ms. Luong was recently recognized by InvestmentNews as a Rising Star among their “Women to Watch” award series, which honors female financial advisors and industry executives. In an interview, Ms. Luong explains that she entered the field “to close and alleviate these wealth gaps.”
