MET Computer Science Student Wins Top Prize at BU Innovation Awards

An app that simplifies the circuit design process made a winner of one MET student at this year’s BU Spark! Fall 2021 Demo Day, held in December.

Harunobu Ishii (MET’22), who is pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) with a concentration in Data Analytics, was part of the four-person team that won the prestigious Judge’s Choice Award for Innovation Fellows thanks to their creation, autopcb, an app that automates and streamlines circuit design.

MSCS alum Asad Malik (MET’21), who previously won a BU Spark! award for creating a new social media platform, was among the day’s 13 presiding judges.
