Krystie Dickson

Krystie Dickson is a lecturer in the Department of Administrative Sciences. She earned her master’s in applied business analytics at Boston University’s Metropolitan College and also holds a master’s degree in information systems and technology management. For more than eight years, her career has been focused on the areas of data analytics and information systems within various industries, such as oil and gas, banking, gaming, and most recently, pharmaceuticals.

Dickson has performed various roles at Metropolitan College, including lead coordinator, graduate teaching assistant, graduate research assistant, course facilitator, and lecturer. As a graduate research assistant, she co-created a framework to determine the competitive positioning of universities across the US that offer similar graduate programs in business analytics, a framework that has since been implemented across various programs within Metropolitan College. She has also played a key role in the BU MET Applied Business Analytics program as an educator, mentor, active member of the community, and leader within the program’s ongoing development.
