
Lin Ge
Associate Professor of the Practice, Administrative Sciences
Dr. Lin Ge earned her PhD in finance from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining BU MET, she served as an assistant professor of finance at the University of Mississippi in Oxford and has taught different finance courses at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Mississippi. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a hedge fund analyst on the buy side in Toronto, Canada, bringing valuable industry experience to her research and teaching. Dr. Ge has presented her research at prestigious universities and finance conferences around the world, including the American Finance Association (AFA), Financial Management Association (FMA), Midwest Finance Association (MFA), Eastern Finance Association (EFA), Northern Finance Association (NFA), Southern Finance Association (SFA), and Southwestern Finance Association (SWFA), among others. She received the Outstanding Paper Award in Empirical Finance from the SFA in 2020 and the Distinguished Paper Award from the SWFA in 2019. Additionally, Ge serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Banking and Finance and the Journal of Business, Finance, and Accounting.
