Student Talmud Class

Tractate Kiddushin is the one being studied, and deals with matters pertaining to the obligations of bride and groom to each other, the consequences of getting married out of false expectations set up by one of the partners, and issues dealing with family pedigree, including bastardy. The course presumes a certain facility with Hebrew text, but does not require it. One can follow the arguments by listening carefully. Led by Rabbi Joseph Polak. Part of Hillel School.
