Heather was one of my college roommates. I can only say that she was a unique and amazing person who will truly be missed. She was motivated, amibitious and extremely successful in her career. She loved her family, friends and her work. Heather knew how to have a good time. She worked hard but played hard as well. She will live on in the hearts and minds of many forever.
I love you Heather, and think of you everyday.

I was in total shock when I found out Heather was among the missing. She was such a smart and beautiful person. Someone whom I admired. I've known Heather since she was 6 and always considered her a part of our family. My prayers go out to her family.

Heather was my floor mate in Warren Towers during our freshman year ('87-'88) and she was a good friend and a special person. We never kept in touch after college, but I always had her in my heart and hoped to see her again. I pray she is resting in peace and enjoying her just rewards on the other side now. She graced us with her charm, warmth and friendship, and I will never forget her. Farewell, beloved old friend!

Heather was a classmate of ours. When I heard of the horrible news, my first thoughts were of her infectious smile and her energy. We have not kept in touch with Heather since graduation--that doesn't matter. We pray she is in peace. What a loss...

I am also a pastry chef and I understand how she was motivated
toward her career. I have read about her many times in pastry magazines and looked up to her.
I'm sorry about what has happen to her. She was a talented pastry chef.

Two years ago, I knew that I lost someone that day. It was December before I knew that it was Heather. She, Brian Bistrong, and I were in a marketing case study group together. What struck me about her most was her incredible drive and focus. Heather, I still think about you. Your spirit lives on.

Dear Heather,
3 years ago today we lost an extraordinary person with incredible drive and passion for life. Your love for life and especially the culinary arts has been such an inspiration. You continue to live on in the minds and hearts of those who were touched by your life on earth. God bless you Heather. You are so loved.

I had the pleasure to work with Heather for 2 years at Boulevard restaurant in San Francisco. She was one of the most talented people I have ever worked with in any aspect of the hospitality industry. She will be sadly missed by so many people....

I am in shock to just find this out now. I was a classmate of Heathers at THe Culinary Institute of America. I believe I can speak for all of her class mates that she will be missed greatly.

I went to high school with your brother and sister. My first job was working with your sister after school at the bakery. Your fleeting time here touched many. Everyday I pray for you and your family. And everyday you are my motivation. Motivation to make this world we share a better and safer place. You are achingly missed but your legacy will endure.

I grew up across the street from the Ho's. I remember making mud pies with Heather and Cecily in their yard. It is amazing to think that Heather grew up to be a famous chef!

A silver bracelet with Heather's name on it was given to me 10 years ago. I am wearing it today in honor of Heather. My thought and prayers go out to Heather's family as we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Visitor and volunteer at the Healing Field in Belmont Michigan September 9-13. Helping to remove flags from the field yesterday. I folded hundreds of flags stopping from time to time and reading the card attached. Heather Ho pastry chef I had to put a face to the name. My heart has been aching since these past few days. Please know that I have been thinking about Heather. 10 years has passed and from this day forward I will remember Heather Ho.

How heartbreaking to learn that Heather Ho passed in 9/11. I just came across an old article about The Screening Room (which also never was able to recuperate) and it mentioned that she was the pastry chef there, the one that made Lemon Icebox Cake. I did a search for her, hoping to find her still making her wonderful dish, as it was transformed into a wedding cake for us (by her?) at the Screening Room for our wedding on August 19, 2011. Ten years later, I still have, in my fridge, the candy flowers that were made and placed on top of my cake. I now know I will never dispose of them, and always remember Heather when I look at them.

She went to my school- Punahou. We had a chapel today and we talked about her and Ritchie Lee, who both perished during the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.
