Richard Ross

God bless. Although I've never met him, from what I've read about him, he sounds like a man who made a positive mark on many and knew how to enjoy the precious gift of life.

I never knew Richard, but looking at his picture, he has one of those smiles that just seems to light up a room. He looks like someone that loved life and all it had to offer. My prayers are with you, Richard, and your family.

I met Richard. I interviewed with his consulting company after graduation and decided to go to another institution instead. I remeber Richard as being very enthusiastic about his newly formed company. He was full of energy and full of new ideas. It saddens me that we have lost such a great man. I knew him simply from a one hour interview but he will always be in my heart and bless him, bless his family and bless our nation.

I met Richard through his daughters on a cruise in December, 1997. His modesty, generosity, and good-naturedness made him a role model for all. My deepest sympathies go out to the Ross family.

I knew Richard through the time I worked at Judi's (his wife) art gallery on Newbury St. He was a brilliant man who did have a precious outlook on life. He saw an individual talent in every single person and when you spoke with him you felt like you were the most important person in the world. This is one of the wonderful attributes that I will always remember about Richard.

Although I never met Richard Ross, I am a friend of his son's. From what I hear, Richard was an amazing father, husband, and companion to all that knew him. He has touched many lives, and although he is gone, his memory will live on in those who knew and loved him. My deepest regrets go to his family.

I didn't know Richard, but I've talked to his son, who goes to my school...I can't think of anyone who had a bad thing to say about this man. Best wishes and condolences to Judi, Allison, Abigail, and Franklin in this tragic time.

Hello Richard, my dear friend, I think of you often. You were my confidant, my mentor, my buddy. You helped me learn about myself, life and business. We hung out at your view of the world and played like we owned the city. You never hesitated to share your rare gift of understanding people in a remarkably special way. And I laugh when I think of how you scolded me or told me to tow the line or shared your instincts on how I must excel . . . to be a better person every day. We were just kids and yet you had life by the horns. You loved every second of life and lived it with unparalled passion. I will never forget the great times we shared. Its been 38 years from the time we met . . . and yet I frequently hear your laughter and continue to cherish the impact you had on my life. Although I have not met Judi, Allison, Abigail, or Franklin, I think of them often. I send them heartfelt thoughts for their future happiness and fulfilment in life as they travel their own journey. I just know that you left them with a legacy that continues to shine upon them as they face their own challenges. As a result of your wisdon they are undoubtedly shining stars unto themselves. It's now 2006 and I also have three children . . . ages 2,4 and 6 (I can just imagine what you would say about my late start!). . . that I wish shared the blessing of knowing you. With great fondness and love . . . may your soul rest in peace. Fred Powers Arcadia, California

I am a neighbor of him. My boyfriends name is Richard Ross. We got so many calls about it. So sad, even 8 years later.
