Leaving Leaves
The leaves won’t be with us for much longer—or will they? Scientists wonder if global warming is behind the mild fall, similar to spring’s earlier arrival. Richard Primack, a CAS biology prof, reports that studies in Europe and in Japan indicate leaves are changing color and dropping later, so there’s a good chance it’s happening in America as well.
