Purim Pastries
Haman’s ears: Jenna Klein (CGS’13) (from left), Celia Gibson (ENG’15), and Gabi Arons (CAS’15) make the traditional Purim pastry hamantaschen at Hillel House. Considered an archetype of evil, Haman was foiled by Queen Esther when he tried to persuade her husband, the king of Persia, to kill all the country’s Jews. Purim ends at sundown on March 8, 2012.
